Last minute information

1. Final program

The final program in a PDF booklet format is available. Here you can see the dates and times for the oral and poster sessions under different themes.

2. Oral Session Presentations - Guidelines

In order to ensure smooth session operation, speakers are requested to come to their session room at least 20 minutes before their respective session starts and report their presence to the Session Chairs. Please confirm the session where your paper is to be presented.

The allocated time for each talk is 20 minutes (30 min for keynote), including 5 minutes questions and discussions. All session rooms are equipped with an LCD projector and a Laptop being configured with MS Windows Vista, MS Office 2007, and Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0, etc. It is highly recommended that the speaker use them for smooth transition between the presentations. Please bring a USB key or CD to the volunteer in the session room during the Coffee Break, and check with the volunteer whether there is some font display problem. All the files will be deleted after the session.

Speakers may use the Speaker Ready Room located in Room 2.109 to check and be ready for presentation.

3. Posters

In order to ensure smooth session operation, Poster Session presenters are requested to post their papers before their respective session starts. Please confirm the session where your paper is to be presented.

Adhesive tapes are available in the poster session room. Please seek the volunteers to assist you with posting of the posters. Please find the designated board number from the posted list (also listed in the program booklet) to post your poster.

Presenters should remove their poster promptly at the end of their designated session for subsequent session operation. The conference organizer will accept no responsibility for posters not removed by authors at the appropriate time.

Presenters are requested to remain in front of their poster boards to present their work and discuss it with other participants during the 2-hour session.

Poster Panel Size: a poster should be printed on one page 80 cm x 115 cm (portrait) (aprox. A0). Several small sized sheets are also acceptable.

If any assistance is required, please approach the volunteers assigned to assist the presenters.

If you prefer you don’t need to carry the poster with you. You can have your poster printed at a commercial site in the conference venue, just 1 floor above the CP2 building. Ask for “Copissaurio” or contact directly: geral@copissaurio.com

Posters presented at CHEMPOR2008 are eligible to be uploaded free of charge onto ePosters.net for worldwide access post-event. ePosters.net will provide an award and certificate for the best poster presented at the meeting. Event code: 173. Please note that you may upload it before coming to the conference.
