Congress Fees (in Euros)

Regular fee includes 2 nights accommodation at the TIVOLI MARINA Hotel, Vilamoura, lunches on Nov 29 and 30 2009, the Welcome Reception, tea / coffee breaks, the Congress Program and a CD-ROM with the Congress Program and Abstracts.

* Prices with room: shared (double or triple) / single; if you choose shared room please indicate the name of the participant(s) or accomp. person(s) with whom you wish to share the room. # Please indicate your SPM or SPBiot membership number. † Please send a copy of the student identity card. Registrations after Sept. 15th 25th will cost an additional 20% of the listed fees. Onsite Registrations will cost an additional 50% of the listed fees. Cancellations until Oct. 28 are entitled to a 75% refund. No refunds after that date. Extra nights: please contact the Hotel management.

Registration

Registration is required for all participants. The Registration Form is available in Word and PDF format.

Please complete and send the Registration Form to the MicroBiotec09 Secretariat (by email or fax) preferably before July 15th, 2009.

Use a separate form for each participant and retain a copy of your completed form for your own use.

A Confirmation Letter will be send by email to each participant upon receipt of Registration Form and payment (or proof of payment). Please present this confirmation letter upon registration.

Important note for authors: The contribution will be included in the program and in the CD-ROM with the accepted abstracts only after full payment of at least one registration fee (student's rates are excluded) per paper confirmed by Sep 25th, 2009.

Payments

Payments – without any charge to the beneficiary – are to be made in one of the following ways:

Bank transfer

Payment may be arranged by bank transfer to the following bank account number of the Congress. Please send a copy of your bank transfer by e-mail or fax to the MicroBiotec09 Secretariat.

Please indicate clearly your name and address and the reference name of the Congress (98130505 - MICROBIOTEC09) on your money orders to ensure that payment will be registered correctly! In case of a bank transfer please do not forget to attach a bank copy to your Registration Form (Word / PDF). The banks will most likely charge a transfer fee to your account.

Credit Card Payment

Registration fee may be paid by credit card through the the registration form (Word / PDF). VISA & MASTERCARD are accepted.

By Bank cheque

Cheque payable to the "Universidade do Minho" (cheque should be sent to the MicroBiotec09 Secretariat).

All payments should clearly state payee's name/s and have to reach the MicroBiotec09 Secretariat at the latest two weeks before the event. Admission to the session requires the registration badge which will only be handed over if payments have been effected. Students are required to enclose a photocopy of their Student Identification Card with their Registration Form. Late registration will still be possible on-site at the Registration Desk at an extra charge of 25 €, and does not include Congress dinner and Book of Abstracts. Only payments in Euro (but no other currency), by cash, will be possible; personal or company cheques will not be accepted.

Cancelations, Refunds, and Substitutions

Written, faxed or e-mailed requests for cancellation and refund of registration fees should be addressed to the MicroBiotec09 Secretariat. Cancellations until Oct. 28 are entitled to a 75% refund. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date, but the CD-ROM with the accepted abstracts will will be mailed. All requests for a refund will be handled after the Congress. Registered participants unable to attend may nominate substitutes by informing the MicroBiotec09 Secretariat.
